The Shop Hand Workshop

This workshop is tailored for auto care novices, and will demonstrate and bundle into one class how to check your filters (engine, air, oil), check your fluids (oil, engine, coolant, brake, windshield), replace your windshield wipers, jump-start a battery, and change a tire. This workshop builds basic skills, safety habits, and personal confidence all while saving you money on routine visits.
 
What C.A.R. will provide: The facility, the mechanic to instruct your class, and the auto tools and safety gear to conduct the workshop.
 
What you will bring: Just yourself and any questions you might have!
 
Class Pricing: $100/person (includes one gift bag per registrant)
 
Class Location: At C.A.R. on select Fridays from 5:00-6:00pm.

The apprentice workshop

This workshop will be tailored for those who know their way around a vehicle but are looking to develop some apprentice-level skills. This class will demonstrate and bundle together how to use diagnostic tools (OBD Reader) and perform basic maintenance work (changing air filter, oils, belts, spark plugs, etc.). This workshop aims to develop lifetime vehicle maintenance skills.
 
What C.A.R. will provide: The facility, the mechanic to instruct your class, and the auto tools and safety gear to conduct the workshop.
 
What you will bring: Just yourself and any questions you might have!
 
Pricing: $200/person (includes one gift bag per registrant, and a vehicle maintenance “Cheat Sheet”)

Location: At C.A.R. on select Saturdays, 10:00am-12:00pm.

Motorcycle rider & safety Course
(coming soon)

This will be a two-day course, where riders will learn about the different types of motorcycles, layout and operation of the basic controls, and how to become a safer, more responsible rider. 
 
Certified Riding Coaches will guide learners through the basic skills of straight-line riding, stopping, shifting, and turning, gradually progressing to swerving and emergency braking. Successful completion will provide a waiver of the Oklahoma written licensing tests, can help lower your insurance cost, and will be a major step towards earning a motorcycle license.
 
What C.A.R. will provide: C.A.R. will provide certified instructors, as well as tutorial bikes, cones, and a moto trailer to conduct the workshop.
 
What you will bring: Yourself and food/drinks for lunch on both days.
 
Pricing: $499/person (includes one gift bag per registrant, and a certificate, upon course completion)
 
Location: The course will be conducted at a local church partner’s parking lot. We will announce this location at the time of each course’s sign up.
