We found this mustang in much need of some critical restoration. At first, we thought this car was a throw away, but we've recommitted to take this from our worst car to our absolute best car. Midnight Light is more than a paint job, this Mustang represents the core of what Cross Automotive Restoration does, we take something that was cast away, renew it, and then re-home it. The Story:

In 2007, the Ford Mustang roared onto the scene with a design that echoed its storied past. Part of the S197 generation (2005–2009), it married retro charm with modern muscle, boasting the classic long hood, short deck, and bold stance that defined the pony car legacy. The 2007 base model, equipped with a 4.0L V6 engine, brought improved interior materials and fresh options, offering an accessible yet spirited ride for everyday drivers and enthusiasts alike. While it didn’t pack the raw power of the GT’s V8, its blend of style and performance rekindled the Mustang’s iconic status, fueling the pony car resurgence and solidifying its place in American automotive history.

This 2007 Mustang, however, showcasing restoration at its finest. Started as a neglected shell, it was meticulously renewed with a rebuilt engine and transmission, twin turbos, high flow exhaust, and cold air intake boosted its 3-valve V6 by an exhilarating 100–200 horsepower, and a fully restored interior that gleams like a new GT. Skilled hands transformed this once-weary steed into a powerhouse that leaves the GT in its dust and dares to rival the legendary Cobra.
